24 Hours in Police Custody – Peterborough nightclub predator

On Sunday 6 and Monday 7 July 2025, Channel 4 will be premiering a two-part episode of 24 Hours in Police Custody, centred on the case of Craig France, the Peterborough nightclub rapist who was successfully prosecuted by Jacqueline Carey KC and Jess Ward earlier this year.

Mr France was jailed for 10 years and 7 months after admitting sexual offences, including rape and voyeurism, against four victims between 2021 and 2023. The offences were committed after Mr France took intoxicated women back to his home after nights out in Peterborough. He filmed some of his offences without the victims’ knowledge or consent.
