Heatons is a well run well respected family business and will continue to serve the british public for many years to come.
Mr James Heaton started up Heatons Furnishing Warehouse in 1955 as a French polisher. Over the years polishing became a sideline and furniture retailing became the main part of the business.
Early in 2004 Mr Heaton retired at the age of 74. The Business was then taken over by David Humphrey who had been manager for 24 years and Jamie Barritt Mr Heatons Grandson. The reason Heatons has stood the test of time where so many others have failed, is down to an outstanding service which is not offered by many.
