Sally Jaxx
Sally is soooo excited about waking up with you at the weekends. She feels like a kid in a sweet shop. Most of the time she will just be coming in from a nightclub, having not slept a wink, but not from socializing - that's work!!
Sally started her life in radio at Hospital Radio Burnley after someone told her on a flight that she talked too much and should present a radio show (cheeky devils!).
She thinks she can hold a tune (nobody has had the heart to tell her otherwise, anyway) and whilst performing at a Hospice event at the Colne Municipal she bumped into Ricky Kirby and Gemma Baron who began teaching her the ropes at 2br.
A local girl - born in Burnley and brought up in Nelson - now living in Ightenhill, Burnley, she loves keeping it local with Radio.
Sally's favourite past-time is, like most girls, shopping! She loves clothes, shoes, jewellery and handbags and even helps out at her friend's jewellery shop one day a week.
She is looking forward to your company at the weekends from 8am till 12pm Saturdays and Sundays. There will hopefully be someone in every weekend for a chat, from Celebs to local figures, and pictures will be on here every Monday, so why not have a peek?
