Gemma hasn’t been in the radio scene too long…. Well not as long as her colleagues! She joined 2br earlier this year after working over in Preston at Rock fm and Magic 999 as the traffic and travel presenter.
Initially Gemma had a taste of radio ten years ago when she did her work experience in a radio station whilst at college… she loved the fun, friendly and terrific atmosphere that buzzed through the whole station and knew one day she’d be part of that.
Gem’s a local girl from Great Harwood and has lived there her whole life, (all 26 years). She loves to party out on the town or even in the studio when she’s on air, (she’s been caught a few times dancing away!).
Only a couple of weeks into being here at 2br Gemma’s been given the nickname ‘The Baroness’ and it’s stuck, so if you see her out and about feel free to call her that!
