Martin started making brews at 2BR in June 2004. He used to help out on outside broadcasts all around Burnley Hynburn and Pendle and on several occasions got very wet in rain, hail and even snow......
Martin was born and bred in Nelson and has lived here all his life. He started in the Radio business when he was 18 years old, at Hospital Radio Burnley.
Martin also went on a charity Mini Adventure with his pal Mick. They started at Tescos in Burnley and drove around the UK on all the coastal routes. Every morning for 2 weeks on the 2BR breakfast show. Martin and Mick were set challenges they had to complete whilst live on air. They raised over £6,000 for the Pendleside Hospice.
