Dave Metcalfe

Dave is Burnley bred through and through! Although born in Burnley some years ago, he now lives in Nelson and has been with 2br since the station launched.

Dave started his career at the hospital radio in Burnley and then staying in the northwest worked at other local radio stations before landing here at 2br.

In his spare time, Dave goes to pop quizzes (usually with Steve Joy) and enjoys the odd curry plus a wee dram!!

Dave’s mad about cricket though, not surprising when he’s a fast bowler and middle order batsman. He’s also a keen Clarets fan being a life long supporter of his local team and even spent three seasons as summariser for 2br on all the Burnley games!
