Lancashire's libraries are going electronic.

They're now offering ebooks and audio books as downloads for smartphones, tablets and iPads.

So far there are 1600 electronic books and 300 audio books on the virtual shelves.

The other good news is there are no late fees - when the loan period expires the files just stops working.
