UPDATE major crash on M6

There's been a serious crash on the M6 involving 4 cars.
Traffic built up after the collision between Junction 28 at Leyland and Junction 27 at Standish.
It's affected motorists heading south and the gridlock even stretched back to Bamber Bridge.
Drivers joining from the M65 were also affected as well.
All the lanes that were shut off have been reopened and things are now moving again.
