Listen to a local family's experience of adoption...
11:36am 3rd November 2014
National Adoption week starts today in an effort to raise the profile of adoption and find forever homes for over 6,000 children in the UK.
The focus of this year's campaign is keeping brothers and sisters together. Tracey Tyler and her husband adopted ten years ago - something they say changed their lives for the better and gave them everything they could ever want.
A seven year old girl and three year old boy with the same birth mother joined their family - only to be joined by a third sibling a couple of years later who was just eight months old.
